Many of you may have noticed by now that the avatar photos are missing This is a result of a recent upgrade to the Website to include more robust user account features and options. We now have tighter integrations between the forum and website user accounts and have added a few new features and enhancements.

The first new enhancement is our new Private Messaging system Registered users of the site can now send a PM to other users allowing you to communicate privately. Hopefully this encourages more dialog and communications between BOU and it's members.

After logging in to your account you can reload your avatar photo by clicking on the "Account" link at the top of the page. From here you will see many new changes as well as very tight integration with your user account and the website. Please go ahead and update your profile and upload a new avatar photo and it will now be displayed in the forum and possibly in the future within other interactive features we include on the site. Other registered users can connect or PM and email you from your public user account page. Another feature you may see is a "Connection" within your user account profile area. This is so you can connect to other users you commonly communicate with and not have to dig through the user list to contact them. If you don't have any connections once you login you can click on the "Users" link at the top of the page. This will display a list of all registered users (Only displays public level information, Email and other private information is not displayed) and you can request a connection with them. Once they accept they will show up in your Connections tab on your user profile page.

Again we apologize for the inconvenience of the missing avatar photos, but feel the added functionality and integration with the rest of the site will be worth it in the end.

As always please contact us or reply here if you have any questions or problems.

Thanks for your continued support for BOU!
