Just finished the 3D shoots for the Emery & Carbon County fairs. The Emery County one was free to anyone & we had over 100 shooters. It was outside & had wind, rain, & heat. Was a great turnout tho!
The Carbon County one was just the opposite...inside with no wind, rain, or heat. We had very few shooters & went in the hole money wise.
Several times we talked about how we were wasting our time. But we did get to shoot our bows as much as we wanted, getting good practice for Saturday!
As I reflect on the 2 day shoot, I remember the kids who came in to shoot & the smiles & jumping for joy when they "killed" the dinosaur. I see the ladies that brought their kids in & had Pudge or AJ teach them how to shoot & then helped their kids shoot.
So now I ask myself the question again, "Did I waste my time?" I can honestly answer with a resounding "NO"!
If it works out with Pudge's schedule next year, I will be there!!!
