After I put my hunting arrows together, I test shoot each one with a broadhead, just to make sure that it hits exactly where I'm looking. When I find one that I can't get to behave, I slap a field point on it and use it for a practice arrow. The rest I sharpen and stick in my quiver and don't pull them out again until the moment of truth.
