As one of your Rep's for the Statewide Elk Committee
let me give you a quick report of where we are currently at.
Many of you have or will receive a request to take an online survey that wants your opinion on elk management.

The Committee really worked to get concise questions that
will give valuable feedback and help shape our direction.

Mike Christensen has stepped up to fill the seat of the BOU alternate for the Committee. Mike is a level headed young man that I feel will bring some much needed commonsense to the table.

If you do receive an invite to take the survey please make sure you spend the time to make your opinion known.

The Committee will break untill early November to let the Division compile the data and get the General season deer hunt behind us.

I know that I was skeptical when invited to the table
to be part of this committee. Let me tell you that I couldn't have been more wrong!! Look for some good ideas and things to come out of this committee.
