We posted the results from May's Shot of the Month and placed a new scenario for June. Click on the Shot of the Month link to see the results and let us know if you'd take this months shot.

Also we've added a new Poll question so make sure to cast your vote. Were going to try and change up the poll questions a little more frequently so vote now while it's open and check back often for new Shot scenarios and poll questions.

If you have a question or idea for a poll or have a good photo or scenario for shot of the month send us a note or let us know in the forums and we'll take it into consideration. It's a good way to see how other folks feel and gauge interest on a particular topic.

Head on over and cast your votes and let us know what you think on here!!

I really like June's "Shot of the Month" and I would bet that most would answer yes and take that shot. I really had to give it some consideration though, which you wouldn't have the luxury of doing if you were really in that situation, but for me, it's too risky.

Let me explain my thinking. If you compensate for the wind, and the doe decides to run and turns to her right, there would be a good chance of hitting her. If you manage to sneak the arrow past her before she takes off, you could smack the buck’s front shoulder. And if you don’t compensate at all and the wind plays a factor, gut shot for sure. Too risky!

Maybe I'm just too particular or overly cautious about my shots, but I haven't answered “yes” to any of the scenarios posted yet. I really like this feature and how it makes you really think. I’m looking forward to next months.

I wouldn't take the shot at the buck behind the doe, but I would at the buck to the left.

I voted no, but in reality I'd probably draw and wait for the shot that's about to be presented. The motion of the draw will provoke a response from the doe. Whatever clean shot then becomes available will probably be momentary.

Once the doe moves, the next likely response to the motion of the draw is that all 3 deer will bolt.

I know I'm right about this because my magic quartz crystal told me so.

Reynolds, I’m not sure I would take that shot either. That buck is easily 15 yards further back and you can’t see his vitals, but like I said before, I’m overly cautious.
You’re probably a lot better shot than me.

I voted no, I too haven't voted yes yet. When will we get a 10yd quartering away shot at an unsuspecting moose?
